Drums and Dances:
Christmas Music for Choir and Percussion

Saturday, December 1, 2018
7:30 PM

The Church of St John the Evangelist
320 Charlton Avenue West

The music of the season comes alive with the sounds of Musicata and percussionists Bryan Allen and Stefan Kitai. Traditional sounds of Christmas are given a buoyant twist as Hamilton’s voices combine with marimba, djembe, shakers and congas. Holiday music from the African diaspora and Latin America along with favourites in new forms by Bob Chilcott, John Rutter and many others make this concert a unique and unforgettable way to usher in the most wonderful time of the year.
